Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT working with adult service users who present with a brain injury and other neurological conditions. The post holder will be working within a neuro rehabilitation setting offering assessment and specialist treatment for individuals with physical and cognitive impairments.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full time, subject to applications, part time will be considered

Salary - £63,000 FTE

Experience required:

Candidates applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist and due to the seniority of the role, previous extensive experience working with neuropsychology.

Role summary

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT based on an adult neuro rehab inpatients service for service users with brain injury and complex needs providing:

• Specialist neuropsychological assessments.
• Formulate and implement plans of specialist psychological treatment
• Work with both neuropsychological and mental health presentations
• Risk assessment and risk management
• Evidence based therapeutic and rehabilitation intervention
• Provide supervision, advice and leadership to members of the MDT
• Support service managers and consultant clinical Neuropsychologist with the delivery and development of clinical services.

Hours – Full time (part time applicants will be considered)

Salary - £53,000 - £62,000 FTE

Experience required:

Due to the specialist and complex nature of the role, applicants applying will have previous and extensive experience working within neurorehabilitation.
