Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Therapeutic Lead to join a specialist recovery service in Liverpool.

Role snapshot:

The successful candidate will support the delivery and development of therapeutic services across a recovery pathway for adults with complex needs. Working within a CAT-informed service, you will provide supervision and mentoring to therapists, trainees, and volunteers, facilitate MDT discussions, support safeguarding and risk management processes, and contribute to service development.

The role will also involve holding a small clinical caseload, supporting assessments, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapeutic interventions across both individual and group settings.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – 19 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Salary – £40,000 - £45,000 pro rata

Experience required:

Applicants will hold a recognised therapeutic qualification and have experience working with adults with complex needs, alongside previous experience supporting, mentoring, or supervising colleagues within therapeutic services.

About the employer:

This employer is an independent leading provider of specialist care and education. They work with children and young people in either an educational and/or residential setting who present a complexity of needs including developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions, autism, ADHD, and special educational needs.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed be joining an MDT and will conduct clinical assessments and provide specialist and evidence based psychological interventions in either a 121 or group setting to pupils and residents (6-16 yrs old). This role will be based in a specialist school, working collaboratively with children’s homes and integrated provisions.

Contract type – permanent and term time (39 working week)

Hours – full time (part time applicants will be considered)

Term time salary - £54,500 - £64,000

Experience required:

Candidates applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical, Forensic or Educational Psychologist along with previous experience working with children and young people with complex needs such as ASDautismneuro and/or trauma.
