They work with children and young people in an educational setting who present a complexity of needs including Sensory Processing Difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Dyspraxia, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Speech and Language delay/disorders, attachment and trauma difficulties, global developmental delay or neurological disorders.
Role snapshot:
The candidate appointed be joining an MDT who work across schools and the therapy centre with children and young people aged 0-18 years. This role will assess and treat children and families who have been affected neglect, abuse, loss and trauma and whom may be struggling to develop secure attachments and healthy relationships . The post holder will work in an trauma informed approach and be skilled in play therapy.
Contract type – permanent
Hours – 5 days per week
Term time salary - £38,700 FTE
Experience required:
