Psychologist – SEN Schools

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to work in specialist educational setting in Stoke-on-Trent, and Wilmslow.

Role summary

The candidate appointed will be working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. Students may present with communication difficulties, learning difficulties and autism.

The post holder will carry out assessments and create individual plans and therapeutic interventions, write reports, and deliver training to staff, parents and other agencies.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – 32 hours p/w, part-time, ideally across 4 days, but open to discussion
Semi flexible remote working options can be discussed.

Salary – £45,250 – £61,750 FTE DOE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist along with experience working with children/young people, SEN and/or mental health (whether during doctoral training or post qualifying).
