Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to work in specialist educational setting in East Cheshire.

Role summary

The candidate appointed will be working with children and young people (ages 5-19) with special educational needs and disabilities. Students may present with communication difficulties, learning difficulties and autism.

The post holder will carry out assessments and create individual plans and therapeutic interventions.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – 2 days per week (16 hours pw)

Salary – £45,200 – £61,900 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist along with experience working with ASD and complex needs (whether during doctoral training or post qualifying).
