Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC reg. Psychologist to work within a specialist medium secure service in North Yorkshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining a well-established MDT providing assessments and therapeutic interventions for adult service users across medium secure wards.

Interventions include CBT, DBT, CAT Therapy, EMDR and compassion-focussed therapy which will be delivered on a 121 or group basis. The post holder will have an opportunity to work with a variety of presentations including ASD, learning disabilities and personality disorders.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – both part time and full time is being considered

Salary – £45,000 – £55,000 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist along with experience working with complex patients. Those due to qualify in 2024 are encouraged to apply.
