Psychologist – neuro

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work in a specialist residential neurorehabilitation service in North Bedfordshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be working across residential and community based transitional neurorehabilitation sites for adult service users who present with complex, acquired neurological disorders.

The post holder will work within an MDT providing clinical psychology input to service users with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions. This will include specialist neuropsychological assessment and individual therapy.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full time, subject to applications part time may be considered.

Salary – £40,000 – £50,000 FTE.

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist along with experience working with neuro rehab whether it be during doctoral training or post qualifying. Due to the nature of the role, a car owner and driver is required.
