Psychologist – LD/autism

Shire Healthcare are recruiting a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to work within a secure service for adults with learning disabilities and autism based in Northeast Kent.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT, working alongside an onsite Consultant Psychologist, within a secure hospital for adult service users who present with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – both part time and full time will be considered.

Salary – £40,000 – £51,000 FTE

Experience required:

HCPC registered Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists with experience working with complex mental health, learning disabilities and autism will be considered. Previous forensic experience is not essential for this role.
