Psychologist – inpatients

Job description

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Psychologist to join an inpatients service in Birmingham.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT supporting a variety of wards for Adults, based on Acute/PICU wards and within the private addictions service. The successful candidate will be confident in delivering assessments, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to service developments, and able to manage a clinical caseload.

Contract type – permanent, part- time

Hours – 2 days per week (7.5 hour days)

Salary – £55,000 – £65,000 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Psychologist. Experience in 1-2-1 and group therapy work is desirable. The successful candidate will be experienced in assessments, MDT working and have experience working with Adult mental health.
