Psychologist – forensic

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC reg. Psychologist to work within a specialist low secure forensic service in North Hampshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT who work within the male low secure unit with complex service users. The service users, many of whom have forensic histories, require long-term treatment and rehabilitation and present with multiple problems, challenging and high-risk behaviour and complex care needs. The post holder will conduct evidence based psychological assessments, formulations and both short and long term therapeutic interventions in both a 121 and group setting.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – 30 hours (4 days)

Salary – £57000 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist with an interest in working with the above mentioned client group.
