Psychologist – forensic

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to work within a forensic service in North Manchester.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT working on a medium secure service for adult clients who present with various severities of complex mental health needs. Presentations may include self-harm, challenging and aggressive behaviours, drug and alcohol problems and/or history of sexual offending.

Th post holder will provide assessments, develop care plans, and provide therapeutic interventions including schema therapy, CAT and DBT.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – between 3-5 days p/w can be considered

Salary – up to £55,000

Experience required:

Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists applying will have experience working with a forensic service. HCPC registration is required.
