Psychologist – eating disorders

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical or CounsellingPsychologist to work within a specialist eating disorders service based in North London.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining a well-established MDT who work with young people and young adults who present with an eating disorder along with co-morbid presentations such as ASD, complex trauma, depression, self-harming and/or OCD. The successful candidate will conduct psychological assessments, including risk assessments, formulate plans and deliver therapeutic interventions (121, group and family therapy based).

Contract type – permanent

Hours – 3 days per week

Salary –  £55,000 – £60,000 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist and previous experience working with eating disorders, whether it be during training or post qualifying.
