Psychologist – deaf service

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC reg Psychologist to work within aspecialist deaf service in Manchester, CQC rated Good.

Role snapshot:
The candidate appointed will be working as the lead Psychologist for a specialist mental health service for adults who are deaf and have complex communication needs. The post holder will conduct assessments, design, develop and deliver specialist psychological treatment, including CBT, EMDR, and DBT,which will include group and 121 based therapy.

Contract type – permanent
Hours – full-time, part-time applications will be considered
Salary – £62,500 – £65,500 FTE

Experience required:
Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration and experience working with trauma and complex needs. Thos who have knowledge of British Sign Language will be at an advantage.
