Psychologist – CAMHS

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work within a brand new CAMHS eating disorders service in South Hampshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT within a brand-new small inpatients CAMHS service for young people ages 12-17 who present with eating disorders. This exciting new service also have an onsite school providing educational services whilst the clients based on the wards.

The postholder will provide therapeutic interventions (individual and group based), risk assessments, diagnostic and cognitive assessments. The successful candidate will also facilitate staff reflective practice sessions. The wards run according to a trauma-focused model.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – Both part time and full time will be considered

Salary – £40,000 – £55,000FTE

Experience required:

Clinical and Counselling Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration and experience working in CAMHS and/or eating disorders either within a clinical placement or post qualifying.
