Psychologist – adult inpatient

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Practitioner Psychologist to work within an adult inpatient service in Hertfordshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining a well-established multi-disciplinary team, including Psychologists. You will work with adult service users across acute inpatient wards in a hospital environment. Your caseload will include working with males and females.

The post holder will provide psychological assessments and interventions and adapted brief CBT and DBT for patients in the acute phase of their illness.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – Full time. (4 days may be considered)

Salary – up to £53,000 FTE

Experience required:

Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration and experience working with complex mental health with a trauma informed approach. Those with inpatient experience will be at an advantage.
