Psychologist – adult inpatient

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC registered Psychologist to work within a specialist inpatients service in Hertfordshire who have an overall CQC rating of “Good.”

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT working across acute and psychiatric intensive care, secure services (low and medium) and a community focused rehabilitation ward. The post holder will conduct psychological assessments and tailor therapeutic intervention plans.

Contract type – permanent, part-time

Hours – 4 days per week (30 hours), will consider job share of x2 Psychologists doing 2 days per week (15 hours)

Salary – £38,600 pro-rata salary (£48,250)

Experience required:

Candidates applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist along with previous experience working with complex mental health in settings such as inpatient wards, rehabs, acute or high- risk services.
