Psychologist – acute inpatients

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC reg. Psychologist to work within anewly established acute inpatients service in east Devon.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will work with adult service users with enduring mental health presentations who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission. The team focus on recovery providing person-centred care and treatment, the post holder will offer psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – 3 days per week

Salary – £45,000 – £50,000 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist along with experience working with complex presentations including personality disorders and those potentially with forensic histories.
