Principal Psychologist – CYP residential

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Psychologist to work within a specialist CYP residential service in Merseyside.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will lead a team who work across various children’s home for those who present with complex needs including learning disabilities and/or ASD. The post holder will provide leadership and strategic direction to the in house Psychology service.

The successful candidate will have a key role in leadership and strategic direction of the Psychology service including being responsible for financial and staffing resources. The post holder will also have a small clinical caseload.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – both part time and full time will be considered

Salary – up to £70,000 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have previous experience working within SEMH/SEN and/or children’s residential services. HCPC registration is required.
