Family Therapist – Adult EDU

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Family Therapist to work within an adult EDU based in Bristol who have an overall CQC rating of “Good.”

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be providing systemic family therapy to patients receiving inpatient and outpatient care for eating disorders. The post holder will conduct systemic assessments and interventions to service users and their families. The role will include attending ward rounds, CPA’s, MDT assessments, team formulation and care planning.

This is a great opportunity for Family Therapists who haven’t worked in eating disorders but keen to do so, those with an interest in this field are being considered.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – 3-5 days per week will be considered.

Salary – £47,000 – 53,500 FTE

Experience required:

Candidates applying will have completed their family and systemic psychotherapy training and will have registration with both the UKCP and AFT. Previous experience working in eating disorders is not required.
