Family Therapist
Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a UKCP registered Family Therapist to join a specialist service in Barking, Essex.
About the employer:
A social enterprise who provides independent education and specialist service for neurodiverse pupils.
Role snapshot:
The candidate appointed join a multi-disciplinary clinical team who provide a specialist service to children between the ages of 7-11 who have found challenges within a mainstream school. This service offers a nurture approach to education and support. Children present with:
– developmental trauma
– attachment difficulties
– ASD and/or ADHD.
– Sensory processing difficulties.
– Mental health diagnosis such as Anxiety or OCD.
Contract type – permanent and term time
Hours – 15 hours per week
Salary – £51,500 – 54,000 FTE.
Experience required:
Candidates applying will have completed the MSc / Post Graduate Diploma in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy (accredited by the AFT) and UKCP registration.
