Educational Psychologist – schools

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Educational Psychologist to work within a school in Surrey.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be working in a school with children aged between 2-18 years.

You will have experience in child development, children and young people’s emotional wellbeing, and the psychological aspects of educating children with special educational needs including wide ranging neurodiversity, developmental delays, SEMH challenges, ADHD, ASD, dyslexia.

The role involves:

Administering and interpreting standardised assessments, such as WISC and WIAT.

Assessing neuro-developmental conditions

Devise and implement effective intervention strategies and deliver training sessions.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – Full time

Salary – £48,000 – £53,000 FTE

Experience required:

HCPC registered Educational Psychologist with experience of working with children with learning disabilities and assession neurodiverse presentations.
