Educational Psychologist – schools

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for an Educational Psychologist to work across schools across the country.

*Option for part-time role if successful applicant would like to solely look after Schools in the Midlands*

*Home working with the requirement to travel to schools*

Car driver mandatory, mileage paid

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be delivering a comprehensive therapeutic service to children and young people in an educationalsetting. The post holder will be responsible for providing consultation and guidance to develop behavioural support and deliver care planning strategies.

You will also provide psychological advice to internal teams , e.g. the education team and external providers (local authority.)

You will be expected to contribute to service developments, and undertake CPD to ensure you maintain proficiency standards aligned with the HCPC.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full-time or part-time options

Salary – up to £53,500 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of mental health presentations. Registration with the HCPC is mandatory.
