Educational Psychologist – school

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Educational Psychologist to work within a school in Slough, Berkshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be working in a school with students who have SEND and mental health needs. The successful candidate will be providing one-on-one assessments and deliver comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations for support and referrals. Support parents and teachers involved in children’s education, fostering a cohesive educational community. Design interventions promoting psychological well-being, social, emotional, and behavioural development among our students.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – 8.00am – 4pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.00am – 3.30pm on a Friday (37)

This is a term time only role (39 weeks to include INSET/Twilights)

Salary – £50k FTE

Experience required:

HCPC registered Educational Psychologists with experience working within SEND departments.
