Deputy Hospital Manager – CAMHS

We are working in partnership with a provider of children’s services and have a permanent opportunity for a Deputy Hospital Manager based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. If successful, you will be overseeing the service and working closely with the Clinical Director.

This is a permanent position working Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm with minimal on call responsibility. This role is open professionals with a nursing background and have experience working at a Ward Manager level or above.

As a Deputy Hospital Manager your main responsibilities will include:

  • Be responsible for the Business, Clinical and Support Services aspects of the hospital
  • Ensure the highest level of patient care is being provided throughout the service
  • Work closely with the hospital director and MDT.
  • Share responsibility for the financial viability of the hospital
  • Work with the management team to always maintain a safe and effective operation
  • Ensures compliance with CQC standards and leads on notifications of incidents
  • Works jointly with the hospital director in maintaining positive relationships with commissioners, clinical teams on NHS wards and community teams to obtain business and keep hospital occupancy full.
