Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a UKCP accredited Cognitive Analytic Therapist to work for a step 4 adult mental health services in Basildon and Brentwood.

The candidate appointed will be joining an adult step 4 service working with complex mental health presentations including trauma and personality disorder cases. The successful candidate will conduct assessments, including risk assessments, and deliver therapeutic interventions (12-16 sessions) on a 121 and group basis. Interventions may include CAT, EMDR, CBT, IPT, DIT, MBT and DBT.
Contract type – permanent
Hours – full time (minimum of 3 days per week will be considered)
Salary – £45,700 – £52,000 FTE
CAT Therapists applying will have UKCP accreditation, along with additional sound experience in either Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behaviour therapy for psychosis (CBT-P), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), Mentalisation Based Therapy (MBT) or Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Experience working in adult secondary care services is required.
