Art Therapist – CYP /LAC
Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC registered Art Therapist to work within a specialist CYP residential service working from home and visiting sites in Hertfordshire and North London.

This employer is a specialist service, Clinical Psychology led, who are proud leaders in the field in delivering bespoke packages of support to organisations who work with children and young people who have experienced developmental trauma.
This employer specialises in working to support complex systems to develop trauma informed practice.
About the role:
The post holder will work with children’s residential homes, in education settings, local authorities residential homes and directly with children, young people and families. The successful candidate will provide consultation, psychological support and training to foster carers, residential staff and a variety of organisations including educational settings.
The role will include providing psychological assessments, formulation and intervention to children, young people and families. The candidate appointed will be working with a small group of children’s homes in Bedford, Hertfordshire and North London. A large proportion of this role will be working from home.
Contract type – permanent
Hours – 3 – 5 days per week can be considered
Salary – £30,000 – £45,000 FTE
Experience required:
Those applying will have sound experience working with systems such as CYP residential services, fostering services and/or CAMHS. HCPC registration is mandatory.
