We are working in partnership with a provider of children’s services and have a permanent opportunity for a Registered Manager based in Dartford, Kent. If successful, you will be overseeing a service that provides support to children with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties within a new children's home.

This is a permanent position working Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm. This role is open to experienced Registered Managers or Deputy Managers ready to take the next step.

Role summary

The candidate appointed will be joining an adult step 4 service working with complex mental health presentations including trauma and personality disorder cases. The successful candidate will conduct assessments, including risk assessments, and deliver therapeutic interventions (12-16 sessions) on a 121 and group basis. Interventions may include CAT, EMDR, CBT, IPT, DIT, MBT and DBT.

Contract type - permanent

Hours – full time (minimum of 3 days per week will be considered)

Salary - £45,700 - £52,000 FTE

Experience required:

Candidates applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, along with additional sound experience in either Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behaviour therapy for psychosis (CBT-P), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), Mentalisation Based Therapy (MBT) or Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Experience working in adult secondary care services is required.

  • Providing leadership and supervision to the wider team
