This role requires travel to children's homes in / around Birmingham .

About the employer:

This employer provides therapeutic children’s homes for children and young people who are looked after.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining a service working with a small group of children’s homes in and around Birmingham, delivering assessments and therapeutic interventions to develop trauma informed practice. You will also offer consultations, reflective practice, and deliver training.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help develop this therapy service contributing to the wider company’s centre of excellence in the field of developmental trauma and attachment.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – 3 – 5 days per week can be considered

Salary - £30,000 - £45,000 FTE

Experience required:

The ideal candidate will be accredited the BABCP and have experience of working with young people with complex presentations eg a CAMHS, LAC or YOS. It's desirable that you hold experience in therapeutic models such as DBT, CFT, DDP and/or mentalisation based therapy.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be providing systemic family therapy to patients receiving inpatient care on an eating disorders unit. The post holder will conduct systemic assessments and interventions to service users and their families. The role will include attending ward rounds, CPA's, MDT assessments, team formulation and care planning.

The successful candidate will also offer outpatient appointments and working within a day care therapy service.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full time, subject to applications part time will be considered.

Salary - £38,000 - 44,000 FTE

Experience required:
