Lead Therapist – addictions

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Lead Therapist to join an Addiction Treatment Programme based in North London.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be working as a Lead Therapist within a specialist addiction service supporting delivery of the inpatient addiction treatment programme and day therapy programme.

The post holder will be joining an MDT, leading a team of therapists, as well as holding a small clinical caseload of inpatient and outpatient service users as well as supporting the group program. They will provide leadership, clinical supervision and mentorship to junior therapists and support staff.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full time, subject to applications part time may be considered.

Salary – £41,200 to £52,000 FTE

Experience required:

Candidates applying will have experience of working with drug, alcohol and behavioural addiction. Experience of working with 12 step programme along will full accreditation with one of the following BACP, BABCP, UKCP, BPC, ACP, NCPS or ACAT.
