Assistant Psychologist – children’s residential

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for an Assistant Psychologist to support in the West Midlands county with looked after children in residential settings.

*A clean, full driving license is mandatory for this role*

*There is a split between home and on-site work*

Role snapshot:

You will be a part of the Clinical Services team, delivering bespoke assessments, and treatment across young people and families.

The post holder will monitor risk, create risk management places, review care plans and arrange team around the child meetings.

You will also contribute to frameworks, service developments, liaise with referrers, deliver specialist training and supervise practitioners (all relevant training will be provided!)

Contract type – permanent

Hours – Full time ideally

Salary – £40,000 – £45,000 FTE

Experience required:

Those applying will hold relevant registration/accreditation and have experience of working in children/young people residential services, therapeutically.
