Psychological Therapist (Outpatient Services Manager)

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Psychological Therapist to work as the Outpatient Services Manager based in Edinburgh with occasional travel required to the Scottish Borders.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining private mental health provider for adult mental health and addictions treatment within outpatient and inpatient settings. The post holder will be supporting the expansion of the integrated outpatient Psychotherapy and Psychiatry service who offer both online and in person therapy for services users transitioning from their residential programmes.

The successful candidate will provide overall leadership, governance and operational insight for the outpatient’s service which will include both the psychiatric and therapeutic components. The candidate appointed will also hold a small clinical caseload.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full time

Salary – £47,800 – £55,000 FTE

Experience required:

Psychological Therapy professionals applying will have registration/accreditation with the relevant governing body such as HCPC, BACP, UKCP, BABCP, COSCA. Due to the seniority of the role, it is mandatory that those applying have previous experience providing clinical supervision and in managing outpatient mental health services including digital services. Experience in clinical governance and service improvement is also required.
