Educational Psychologist – schools

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for Educational Psychologists to join a local authority supporting schools, including county wide travel in Hertfordshire (hybrid working applies.)

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will work within an MDT and provide psychological assessments to children in various school settings. You will develop individualised support, providing therapeutic intervention. You will risk assess/manage and champion safeguarding. The post holder may also train other professionals within the service.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full time , part-time applicants will be considered

Salary – £47,650 FTE – £57,950 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist along with experience providing psychological input to children and young people. They welcome applications from trainee EPs currently on the doctoral course.
