Psychotherapist – CYP residential/LAC

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Creative Therapist to work from home with travel required across the West Midlands county, and Staffordshire to support young people therapeutically.

*A clean, full driving license is mandatory for this role*

About the employer:

This employer delivers bespoke packages to children and young people who have experienced developmental trauma working with children’s residential homes, local authorities, supported accommodation providers and educational settings. This employer also provides therapeutic support to organisations to help the development of their trauma informed practice.

Role snapshot:

You will be working with external organisations, including schools and educational settings, offering consultations, reflective practice, direct therapeutic input, assessments, and training. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help develop this therapy service contributing to the wider company’s centre of excellence in the field of developmental trauma and attachment. A large proportion of this role will be working from home.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – Full time ideally, 4 days per week can be considered

Salary – £30,000 – £42,000 FTE

Experience required:

Those applying will hold relevant registration/accreditation with the UKCP/NCPS or equivalent and have experience of working in CYP residential/ LAC services and working within systems.
