Psychologist – deaf adults
Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC reg. Psychologist to work within a specialist deaf adults service in Northeast Manchester who have an overall CQC rating of “Good.”
Role snapshot:
The candidate appointed will be working with adult service users who are deaf and have complex communication needs. The post holder will conduct diagnostic, cognitive and risk assessments and deliver psychological treatment which will include 121 and group based therapy. Interventions used includes CBT, DBT and EMDR therapy.
Contract type – permanent
Hours – full time, subject to applications, part time will be considered.
Salary – up to £62,500 FTE
Experience required:
Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists applying will have experience working with complex mental health and an interest in working with deaf adults. HCPC registration is required.
