Psychologist – adults

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to work across two adult mental health services in Leeds.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be working across two sites, one of which is a rehabilitation recovery service and one focussing on enhanced care and community housing.

The post holder will conduct diagnostic, risk, and cognitive assessments as well as offer 121 and group-based interventions. Service users will have complex emotional and mental health problems associated with significate risk behaviours. Presentations include personality disorder or serve mental illness.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – Both part time and full time will be considered.

Salary – up to £65,000 FTE

Experience required:

Candidates applying will have HCPC registration along with experience working with complex mental health either during doctoral training or post qualification. Psychologists qualifying from their final year of training are encouraged to apply.
