Psychologist – CAMHS

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a band 8A Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join a tier 4 CAMHS service in Berkshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining a large MDT working on rotation across PICU, general adolescents unit and an eating disorders wards. The post holder will provide assessments, formulation and interventions to young people and supporting them until they are able to move into a community setting. The successful candidate will be offering both 121 and group therapy.

The post holder will also have the opportunity to contribute to service evaluation and service development and will also have line management and supervision responsibilities.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full time and part time will be considered

Salary – £49,500 – £55,700 FTE

**a combination of on site and remote working can be considered**

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist and post qualification experience of working in CAMHS services and complex mental health. Those with eating disorders experience will be at an advantage.
