Clinical/Counselling Psychologist -workplace mental health (hybird)
Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work in Liverpool on a hybrid basis.
Role snapshot:
The successful candidate will provide psychological triage, assessment and brief, goal-oriented treatment to a caseload of adult patients presenting with a varied range of clinical presentations and contextual factors. The role will involve working both face-to-face and remotely within a workplace-focused psychological service.
You will be supported through regular clinical supervision, weekly team meetings and ongoing CPD, with opportunities to develop specialist workplace capabilities, deliver mental health workshops and undertake specialist assessments including neurodiversity assessments.
Contract type – Permanent
Hours – Part-time & full-time, 15–37.5 hours per week
Location – Liverpool – minimum 1 day on-site
Salary – £53,000–£60,000 FTE, pro rata, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Experience required:
- HCPC registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
- Doctorate/PhD in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
- Experience working with adults is essential.
- Experience delivering evidence-based psychological therapies and brief interventions.
- Primary Care or Occupational Health experience is desirable.
- Experience with neurodiversity assessments is highly desirable.
