Educational Psychologist
Shire Healthcare are recruiting for an Educational Psychologist to work across schools and clinics in Sunderland.
Role snapshot:
The successful candidate will provide Educational Psychology assessments, consultation and recommendations across a range of educational settings.
You will work with children, young people, families, schools and local authorities, with opportunities to provide training and contribute to service development. The role also offers flexible working, homeworking for administration and regular clinical support.
Contract type – Permanent and fixed-term opportunities available
Hours – 2 days per week
Location – Sunderland
Salary – £55,000–£63,840 FTE, dependent on experience, pro rata, plus a £5,000 retention bonus after 12 months (pro rata).
Experience required:
- HCPC registered Educational Psychologist.
- Doctorate or MSc in Educational Psychology.
- Newly qualified Educational Psychologists are encouraged to apply.
- Strong assessment and report-writing skills.
- Knowledge of SEN legislation and educational frameworks.
- Experience within mainstream or specialist educational settings is desirable.
