Lead creative therapist – school

Shire Healthcare are working with a leading provider of specialist education and schools recruiting for a Lead Therapist (Music, Art, Drama, Play) to be based in Kent.

The role:

The successful candidate will be appointed as the Lead Therapist to work in a new independent specialist school in Kent. The role will be supporting students with SEMH needs. You will work with children and young people in an specialist education setting who present a complexity of needs including autism and other types of neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

Contract Type – permanent

Hours – Full time

Salary – £40,000- £45,000 FTE

Experience required:

Candidates applying will have experience working with children who present with learning disabilities, autism and /or developmental trauma. Valid and up to date professional registration & membership of professional body required e.g. HCPC, BACP
