Waking Nights – Residential Children’s Support Worker
We are working in partnership with a provider of children’s services and have a permanent opportunity for a Waking Night role based in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire.
If successful, you will be working as part of a team providing support to children with EBD within a children’s home.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week.
Salary between £30,500 – £32,500 per annum.
Shift time: 10 pm – 8 am.
Previous experience working in a waking night role within residential children’s care is essential.
NO SPONSORSHIP OFFERED and Full UK driving license is required.
As a Residential Children’s Worker your responsibilities will include:
- Provide support using a person centred approach.
- Support the children to maintain and develop relationships with friends and family.
- Encourage the a healthy sleeping routine for the young people.
- Support the children in all aspects of their daily living.
- Safeguard vulnerable children and report any suspicion or evidence of harm.
- Continuous commitment to professional development.
- Liaise with parents and/or carers and other professionals.
