Therapy Lead – adult acute/PICU

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Therapy Lead to work within an adult inpatient service based in Birmingham.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will manage a team of therapists to ensure best practice. You will be a part of the multi-disciplinary team, carry a small clinical caseload (this could be inpatients and/or outpatients dependent on service requirements) and deliver both 1-2-1 and group therapy.

You will contribute to service development and shape the direction this heads. You will also oversee clinical governance, and collaborate with wider MDT professionals to provide a person-centred approach to mental health support.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full time, 37.5 hours per week, part-time applicants may be considered

Salary – £45,000 – £52,000 FTE

Experience required:

The ideal candidate will be registered with the HCPC or accredited with the BACP/UKCP/BABCP or equivalentand have extensive prior experience providing therapy with adults and various moderate to severe mental health presentations. It would be desirable to have inpatient , acute / PICU experience.
