Psychotherapist – schools

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Psychotherapist to work within a specialist education service in Oxfordshire who have an overall Ofstedrating of “Good.”

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be working in a specialist education centre with young people with developmental trauma, ADHD, autism, Asperger’s and SEMH needs. The successful candidate will be working as part of an MDT providing assessments, formulating plans and implementing psychological interventions for individuals.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – 3-4 days per week

Salary – £41,158 – £49,721 FTE

Experience required:

Qualified professional (or accredited Counsellor), you’ll be eligible for membership of BACP, or a similar professional body (HCPC or UKCP) (additional mental health or therapeutic intervention qualifications would be desirable)
