Psychologist – schools

The candidate appointed will be working with children and young people (ages 5-19) with special educational needs and disabilities. Students may present with communication difficulties, learning difficulties and autism.

This is a new post created to develop the clinical team based within these 3 schools. This is a therapeutic lead service. The post holder will carry out assessments and create individual plans and therapeutic interventions.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – 40 hours p/w, subject to applications part time may be considered

Salary – £43,600 – £47,500 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist along with experience working with ASD and complex needs (whether during doctoral training or post qualifying). Due to the nature of the role, a car owner/driver is required.
