Psychologist – Forensic & PICU

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC reg Psychologist to work within a Forensic & PICU service in North Cheshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT who work across PICU, low secure and medium secure units. The post holder will conduct assessments and provide therapeutic interventions to adult service users to present with personality disorders and other complex mental health issues. Interventions will include DBT and CFT.

As a member of the Senior Management Team, your role will include overseeing and leading the specialised psychological programme which will include providing supervision and training ..

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full-time, part-time applications will be considered

Salary – up to £65,000 FTE

Experience required:

Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration and experience working with complex mental health. Those with experience in TraumaTherapy, DBT and CFT will be at an advantage.
