Psychologist – forensic LD

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC reg Psychologist to work within a specialist forensic learning disability MSU service in Berkshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT working as a ward Psychologist with Male service users with ASD and learning disabilities in a low secure and medium secure ward. Clients may also present with a history of offending. You will manage your own caseload working with complex service users. You will undertake Clinical assessments, provide 121 and group work, as well as develop treatment plans and provide clinical supervision for the Assistant Psychologist in the team.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – Full time (37.5 hours)

Salary – up to 46800

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist as well as previous experience working with complex mental health and learning disabilities.
