Psychologist – child residential

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work with children and young people who have complex emotional and behavioural needs across homes across Bucks and Herts.

About the employer:

The candidate appointed will be joining a leading provider of therapeutic care and education for children and young people (ages 11-18) who present with complex emotional and behavioural needs. This can include eating disorders, offending behaviour, substance abuse and sexual exploitation and harmful behaviour.

Role snapshot:

The post holder will be working from home and where required will be travelling various services around Manchester. The successful candidate will be working alongside other Psychologists providing assessments, therapeutic interventions and risk management.

Contract Type – permanent

Hours – Part time and full time will be considered.

Salary – up to £55,000 FTE

Experience required:

Candidates applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist and experience working with children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs either during doctoral training or post qualifying.
