Psychologist – adults

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work within an adult inpatient service in Southampton.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining a well-established MDT working across two acute wards and one eating disorder unit. The post holder will conduct 121 assessments and offer group therapy to adult service users along with reflective practice and support to staff. There will also be an opportunity to contribute to weekly DBT groups.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – 2 days per week

Salary – £45,0000 – £50,000 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist along with previous experience working in an adult secondary care service (community or inpatients) along with experience in one or more of the following therapies: CBT, DBT, CAT, CFT, ACT
