Psychologist – acute wards

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to work across wards in Southampton for a hospital who have an overall CQC rating of “Good.”

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be working with adult service users across acute wards and eating disorder wards. The caseload will include both 121 therapy, group therapy and reflective practice. Therapies used include CBT, DBT and/or ACT.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – 2 days per week

Salary – £48,250 – £58,250 FTE

Experience required:

Clinical and Counselling Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration and experience working within acute services. Those with an interest in working with eating disorders will be considered.
