Psychological Therapist – PDU

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Psychological Therapy practitionerto work in a personality disorders unit based in a hospital in South Manchester who have a “Good” CQC rating.

Professions considered:

Candidates applying will be a fully qualified psychological therapist (such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy) and be accredited or accreditable with the UKCP, BABCP or BACP.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will join an MDT who work in a specialist rehabilitation service for adult clients with a personality disorder diagnosis. The post holder will facilitate DBT assessments and deliver DBT in group based and 121 sessions.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – both part time and full time will be considered

Salary – up to £40,000 FTE

Experience required:

Those applying will havean interest in working with personality disorders, DBT and trauma informed approaches to care, previous experience is not necessarily required.
