Psychological Therapist – EDU

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Psychological Therapy practitioner to work in an eating disorders unit based in a hospital in South Manchester who have a “Good” CQC rating.

Professions considered:

Candidates applying will be a fully qualified psychological therapist (such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy) and be accredited or accreditable with the UKCP, BABCP or BACP.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will join an MDT who work in an inpatients eating disorders unit and will support the delivery of both 121 and group based therapy, MANTRA being the primary modality used.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – both part time and full time will be considered

Salary – up to £34,000 FTE

Experience required:

Those applying will havean interest in working with eating disorders, previous experience is not necessarily required.
